Hasti means existence or the world.
To me, this piece evokes an intricate and balanced universe — a quiet place where everything seems to be in its right place, far from noise, disorder, and distraction.

This was one of my early works, and every step of making it felt full of excitement, discovery, and new experience. Writing about my work has always been almost as difficult as making it — maybe even harder. It is not easy to put into words what I feel about the wood, the process, and the final moment when a piece is finished.

The body is made from Russian olive burl, with a walnut wood base.

This work was selected for the 4th Fajr Festival of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts in Iran.
