Afar means fire.

Sometimes it really feels like the wood finds you.
This piece was made from olive wood that came to me completely by chance. I saw it while visiting a friend for something unrelated, and from the first moment I felt drawn to it.

The wood stayed in my workshop for around five months before I finally turned it. When I did, it became one of the most enjoyable pieces I have made so far.

The body is made from olive wood, with a dark walnut finial.
